My Personal Experience


During my high school years, my interest in mathematics started to become more serious, which grew steadily over time. To further pursue this passion, I enrolled at the UFV, where I continued my studies in math. While I attended UFV, my interest in teaching was also growing so I got in contact with my high school to do some volunteering in math classes. Following this, I transferred to UBCO to complete my degree in math and expanded to physics as well. While at UBCO, I began tutoring calculus, which helped me to solidify my interest in teaching. I then enrolled in the teacher education program at UBC, where I continued to tutor math, further developing my skills and dedication to helping students succeed in this subject.
